Every brand has someone who decides how it looks, sounds and shows up in the market. At Percayso Inform, that’s Steve Edmonds.

As Marketing Director, Steve is the reason our story gets told the way it does.

Next up in our Spotlight series, we turned the camera on the guy who usually sits behind it.

A Ten Pound Pom

Steve was born in the UK, but in 1970 his family joined the Ten Pound Poms and emigrated to Australia. In 1998 he came back to the UK. He’ll tell you it was the pull of Cool Britannia and Britpop. Anyone who knows him well, knows he’s taking the proverbial.

From the studio

Before Percayso, Steve spent much of his career in agencies, first as a graphic designer and later as a creative director.

That background still shows. He thinks in layouts, headlines and how a message lands before anyone reads the detail. It’s a useful instinct in a market where data products can be hard to explain and easy to overcomplicate.

One of the original crew

Steve was part of the original crew that set Percayso up, so he’s seen the business grow from the ground floor. His role today is a mix of three things: marketing strategy, creativity and execution. He shapes where the brand is going, comes up with the ideas that get it there and, more often than not, rolls his sleeves up and builds them himself. From positioning and campaigns to content, digital assets and internal tools, there isn’t much that leaves the business without passing across his desk.

Off the clock

Away from work, Steve is the proud dad of two daughters, one 11 and one 20. He’s also a keen guitarist. It’s a lifelong obsession, and one that’s never quite let go.

As for the dream? Spare time spent restoring and rebuilding cool cars. Skinned knuckles, the smell of oil, the whole experience. There’s just one snag: right now, he doesn’t have any spare time. The cars will have to wait.

In his words

Steve said, “I’ve spent most of my working life making ideas look and sound like something people want to engage with. What I love about Percayso Inform is that the substance is already there. The intelligence is genuinely powerful, so my job is to make it clear, credible and impossible to ignore. Being part of the original crew means I care about this business in a different way. I’ve seen what it took to get here, and I’m genuinely excited about where we’re going next.”
